After falling behind early in the first half to an Eddie Johnson goal, two excellent strikes from Danny Cruz gave the Union a brief second half lead only for Mauro Rosales to equalize for the visitors and set up a tense and chippy finish.
The Sounders can’t score, but then again neither could the Revolution. The Union’s shaky defense needs to step up if the team wants to earn full points against a desperate Western Conference foe.
