Help Wanted

The Philly Soccer Page is looking for good people who can produce cool content about soccer. Whether it’s the written word, photos, images, audio, etc., we’re interested. If you’re interested, contact us through our Contact page.

Here are some of the areas where we’re looking to add contributors.

• Philadelphia Union writer

Interested in getting behind the scenes to interview Union players and personnel? We’re looking for someone to get up close and personal with the club to add a deeper dimension to our coverage of Major League Soccer’s newest team.

• Philadelphia Independence writer

Do you follow the Independence? Can you write? We’re looking for someone who can do both and keep our readers informed on the new women’s club, as well as potentially following the U.S. Women’s National Team, if you’re interested.

• Advertising/marketing director

We’re looking for someone to handle advertising inquiries and improve our marketing efforts. We often get inquiries, but the journalists in our group are always hesitant to cross the sacred wall that divides advertising from editorial. We need someone who knows the marketing and advertising end. If that’s you, give us a shout.

• Photographer(s) & videographer(s)

We’re looking for photographers and videographers who shoot soccer at all levels. Whether it’s shooting photos or taking video at Philadelphia Union games or local soccer leagues, we’re interested.

• Reading United AC writer

We’re looking for someone who will follow and write about Reading United AC, the Union’s PDL affiliate, from May through August.

• General contributors

Can you bring something to the table that isn’t listed here? Give us a shout and let us know. Whether it’s writing about the Delaware Valley soccer community as a whole or zeroing in specific topics or talents you may have, we’re always interested in hearing what good new people can add.
