The disciplinary committee has spoken and Haris Medunjanin will miss a total of three games due to his red card in Atlanta. So that’s Toronto, Vancouver, and the upcoming game against LAFC. And honestly that’s perfectly fair. However, Jim Curtin was also fined an undisclosed amount for having the audacity to call out the poor state of officiating in MLS.

Luckily, that didn’t matter as the Union beat the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 4-0.

Local, Vancouver, and national coverage.

In case you missed Sebastien LeToux’s Ring of Honor induction ceremony on Saturday.

In case anyone enjoys Transfer Rumors:

Anyone up for Leighton Baines starting in place of Gaddis and Fabinho?

    • Andy Muenz says:

The way Ray has been playing, I’m not sure if this is necessary. Would rather focus on a striker.

      • pragmatist says:

This is the correct answer. Especially considering the likely cost.

I would like to know that we are honestly involved in these discussions, but I’m always against signing a big name simply to make a splash. There has to be a significant ROI, and right now, Ray is proving to be near all-star levels on the left. The addition of offense to his game has been a revelation.

I can’t believe I’m saying this about this organization, but don’t spend the money. Find a better use for it, like a lethal striker. I appreciate all the hard work that CJ does, but it’s simply not resulting in goals. That will be a major difference down the stretch, and maybe coming off the bench for a while will be good for him.

    • I’m skeptical of this report. I can’t imagine they want to buy an expensive old international defender when they already have 2 options on both sides that they seem to be happy with

      • Three options. The future is Real.

      • Tim Jones says:

        Possibly, four options.

      • By two options on each side i meant fabinho and real on the left and rosenberry and gaddis on the right. i know gaddis plays left also, but that is what i meant by 2 at each side

  2. Any idea how many Le Toux bobblehead’s they made? I got there a little under an hour before game time and they were already sold out. Would be typical Union to make 50 of them and then be surprised that there was a much greater demand!
