  1. Sanchez’ back heel assist was something else. Highlight of the weekend. …. On the bright side for U fans, at least we’re not Crystal Palace supporters. That team is really grim. If Hodgson can save that side from relegation, it will be a miracle at this point.

    I know it wasn’t Seattle’s A squad, but I was just genuinely happy with the way the Union played yesterday. If they could do this more often than once a month (maybe) they’d actually be a playoff team. I fully expected a loss today, so well done Union.
    .
    And yeah that CP situation is unreal. No wins and no goals is truly a feat of futility.

    • Frustratingly they’ve gotten all the help they needed from other teams, like the Red Bulls losing, but they haven’t gotten the results on their own end. 3 games stand out – 3-3 vs Montreal in April; the late goal in San Jose; and the late goal at home against Atlanta. 1 win there and we are 2 points out of the playoffs. 2 wins and we are tied for the final playoff spot.
