  1. Shame about Pfeffer. I recall his 15 minutes of fame and a look from Klinsmann for the national team. And, if I’m not mistaken, his last act for the Union was getting a red card after a brief appearance. Perhaps that was his last memorable act. Good luck to him in the future.

    • Yea another great question mark in the “What if the Union had the capacity to develop players from the beginning” file.

      • Chris Gibbons says:

Indeed. I saw him at a try out several months ago and he’s obviously still got skill, but can you blame the guy for walking away? And yet, he’s still young and if he had gone to Temple first and was going into the draft next season, he might be a 1st round guy. Life is weird.

    • At least he gave it a good shot. I remember that he went to Hoffenheim but never was able to break out and make a statement in their youth squad, contrary to Pulisic. That was a key period in his life.

  2. The U20 WC final was crazy; super exciting game! Glad I saw it. Some excellent talent on those teams.

  3. Joel Pterosaur says:

England won something? What kind of crazy world are we living in now?

  4. May have just got a draw against Mexico in the game, but just got a win against them in recruitment.
