  1. Glass half full: At least we’re not RSL or DC. Though to be honest, that doesn’t really provide much comfort to this team’s growing inventory of shoddy performances. Was a really shit weekend for football: Union lose, U20s knocked out and Juventus folded like they were playing at Talen Energy. I’m happy for Ronaldo’s 600th or so goal, but would have liked to see Buffon get a trophy at least once.

Goes without saying, but man do we need a real #10. I feel like we have the players (minus the 10) to be a playoff team. But if Ilsinho is hurt (and he usually misses time), Alberg just won’t cut it. Najem is the only other player currently, that could maybe do it.

Please find a #10 when the window opens.

    • I wouldn’t go too down about the last couple of games. The RSL was a single letdown game prompted by long-distance travel and high altitude. In this last match we had 3 defensive midfielders unavailable, and then a 4th got hurt after we took the lead (not to mention one of our starting CBs). A lot of crap happened. I wouldn’t necessarily take it as a harbinger of what’s to come. Yet.

Having said that, it would be great to buy out Mo Edu’s contract and land a #10 when the window opens.
