Philadelphia Union play-by-play man JP Dellacamera joins KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch in the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show to share his perspective on the team and their playoff hopes.

The Union have been riding high with a 9-2-3 record in MLS and Open Cup play since Jim Curtin took over as interim manager following the firing of John Hackworth. With Wednesday’s 1-0 win at PPL Park over Toronto, the team is currently in a three-way tie for fourth place in the East Conference.

Dellacamera says Wednesday’s win was a little harder than he expected. He also talks about the resurgent play of forward Andrew Wenger, who has come into form since Curtin came in as coach.

Then, Kevin Kinkead from CBS3, Soccerly, and PSP joins Greg and Eli to talk about the Union’s return game in Toronto against a team in turmoil after head coach Ryan Nelsen and most of his staff was fired last weekend.
