KYW Philly Soccer Show: Grant Wahl

In the latest edition of the Philly Soccer Show podcast, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli-Pearlman Storch are joined by Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl.

In part one, Wahl talks about how the New York Red Bulls, the Union’s regular season opponent on Thursday night, have underachieved, noting that Philadelphia survived some ups and downs to make the playoffs and possibly win the Eastern Conference. Wahl also talks about his proposed plan to revamp the playoffs and tells US National Team fans not to panic despite the poor recent results.

In part two, Greg and Eli dig deeper into Thursday night’s game. While the Union have a playoff berth locked up, they could still win the Eastern Conference with a victory tonight. Greg and Eli also discuss possible opponents in the playoffs.
